Yesterday/my Saturday was fun and very productive. We were supposed to go hiking to the highest mountain; Pike's Peak and then go for a swim in a lake. Though when we were leaving we saw the fire in the mountains. I've never seen anything like it. When we got there everything was closed due to the wildfire. It was getting out of control and we were so close and it looked so beautiful. The smoke and clouds it created were mesmerizing. So that didn't work out and then we went to a small beach. It was hot but then when we got to the beach I was cold. I swam for a good 5 to 10 minutes. I laid down on the sand and fell asleep listening to MGMT. I love that band, it's perfect. Later on we left and went to the mall to get some new shoes for Katie, while I was there I went to Hot Topic and got a Daft Punk shirt! Deadmau5 shirt, and an Amazing Spiderman shirt. <3 also a Finn and Jake wallet, and a strawberry wallet. Got $15 coupon too! I also saw a bunny at the mall, a lop bunny, the only one and I wanted it, it was adorable. After that we wanted to eat so we went to go buy a grill at the military store which was pretty cool. It was like a small town if you have access there and just a lot of army stuff around, it was nice. We got like those nice big grills where you probably can cook 50 burgers at the same time. Once we got home we took it in the backyard to assemble and the sun was almost done setting. It was easy at first but as we were closer to having it finished, it got harder. It was already 9 PM almost 10 and we still haven't finished assembling the grill so we ordered pizza. It didn't go all as planned and well it was still fun. Next week we'll be going to the amusement park, which I'm really looking forward. Roller coasters give me that thrill of life, it's such a great pleasurable feeling. Can't wait already!
